Brief outline of the day:
Arrive at the barn 11am
11.15: Uplifting Vinyasa practice
Linking breath to movement we build heat, warm the body and cultivate an awareness of the continuous thread of energy that flows through us. Set your intention for the day ahead and flow through a heart-warming practice that will enliven body, mind and soul. This will be an energising and uplifting session, incorporating detoxifying twists, heart-opening back bends and maybe the odd handstand or two! Prepare to sweat, smile, challenge yourself and enjoy a delicious relaxation at the end.
13.00: Lunch served
Time to indulge in a nourishing vegan feast alongside your fellow yogis. If the sun is shining, we will eat al fresco in the field! As a qualified nutritionist, Annah will also offer a short workshop on nutrition for Spring health.
14.30: Guided meditation and intention setting
Set yourself up for the new season by tuning in to the stillness within. When the distractions of the outside world melt away, and the chattering of the mind begins to slow, we gain a greater sense of clarity of what we need to thrive and how we can manifest our heart’s intentions off the mat.
15.30: Restorative Yin and Yoga Nidra
This afternoon is all about restoring your body’s natural balance through a grounding, hip opening sequence, supported restorative postures and a deeply nourishing Yoga Nidra meditation. Yoga Nidra is an incredibly calming, healing and effective practice (done lying down), and has been shown to improve sleep quality, reduce anxiety and restore energy levels.
17.30 Tea, vegan fancies, chit chat & depart.
Perhaps you began the day as strangers and now you end it with newly found friends. Enjoy a cuppa and vegan cake with the yogi community before you depart.
