Service Description

Yoga Inversions workshop - Handstands and Arm Balancing - fun core work and upside down play time! This workshop is for ALL keen students who want to deepen your yoga practice, strengthen your core, learn shoulder stability exercises, and open the body safely for more strength and flexibility to advance your practice. Learn drills to strengthen core, and develop your inversion practice such as headstands, arm balancing and handstands. Wherever you are in your practice, there will be an inversion for you! Upside down yoga practice can be fun and playful! We will use props and support from each other to help us in and out of poses. You will learn what it really means to engage the body’s core muscles. Gemma will take you through a variety of inversions, arm balances and some handstand play. You will learn lots of fun drills to practice developing inner core strength and strong shoulder stability to maintain more challenging inversions and build on your practice. You will also learn asanas to help you progress to them, modifications, use of props and contra-indications. About Gem Yoga: Gemma Williams, your Yoga tutor, has been teaching yoga since 2009. She has travelled worldwide to learn from different yoga backgrounds. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an Experienced advanced teacher (E-RYT 500) and as a Yoga alliance continuing education provider (YACEP). Certification and Accreditation: If you are registered with Yoga Alliance you will gain 2 CPD training hours on this course and certificate. Course Price: £35
