Introducing a series of gentle workshops to nourish the mind and body. Take time to rest, reset and recharge… Join Taya for a dreamy dose of breathwork (Pranayama), Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra. Beginning with a seated gentle pranayama and meditation to ground and centre your energy, so that you can fully relax and shift your nervous system to the rest and digest mode of our PNS (Parasympathetic Nervous System). You will then be guided through an hour of floor-based Yin Yoga where you will tune your awareness deep within, rejuvenating the physical and subtle energy bodies, and finally into a restful Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), before closing the workshop with some reflective journaling prompts. This workshop will support you in deep rest, healing, contemplation and reflection. What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra or yogic sleep in modern usage is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, typically induced by a guided meditation. A state called yoga Nidra is mentioned in the Upanishads and the Mahabharata, but it offers no precedent for the modern technique
